Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration
The Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration is an Association of Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament, embracing God’s call to weekly Eucharistic Adoration, striving to be a people of prayer, vision and mission, and accepting the challenge to live the Good News of Jesus Christ. This Apostolate is organised, maintained and developed by lay people.
The Motto of the Apostolate is: “To Jesus through Mary”
The main aim of our Apostolate is that all members will grow in holiness and help others to grow in holiness too, thus becoming saints on earth.
We gather in Knock on Friday evening 14th June and all day Saturday 15th June 2019. Following extensive feedback, and after 5 Major pilgrimages to Knock shrine we feel it is time to expand and invigorate the event and to reach out to a younger age group especially the 18 to 45 year olds. We have done a fair amount of work in this area and we are very excited with the feedback and responses to date.
We see Adoremus as a rolling programme of adoration, talks, testimonies, Mass, Praise and worship, anointing, confessions, and sharing as well as time for quite prayer and reflection. This in an opportunity to meet and pray with people from all over Ireland and beyond and for all age groups. Everyone is welcome.
